- IGI 1 - 14. Finding The Bomb
Ekk is the head of an independent Russian mafia who planned to destroy Europe with an atomic bomb. She was the primary antagonist in IGI 1 and was stopped by Jones at the end of the game. She is killed by David (in game) when attempting to stop Anya from defusing the bomb.
Involvement[]
IGI 1[]
She is an ex-Colonel of the Russian army who operates a terrorist organization with members of her army unit. She purchases a nuclear warhead from Jach Priboi with the motive of destroying causing a terror attack throughout Europe. Orders the helicopter transporting Jach Priboi, piloted by David, to be shot down. Having disarmed the nuclear warhead to create a Suitcase Bomb, she flees from secret base to secret base with David close at her heels. Finally killed by David in the last mission.
Strategy[]
Despite Ekk appearing in the first stages of Finding the Bomb, she cannot be harmed by the player. The final battle between Ekk and the player happens only after the player manages to get into the room where the bomb is located. Ekk can move and attack fast, and is flanked by 2 other soldiers in the bomb. Therefore, it would be tougher to directly engage Ekk downstairs. Ekk has the highest health points of any character ingame, and as such requires a staggering 10 Dragunov shots to kill her. The easiest way to kill Ekk would be to stay in the small room above Ekk and snipe her with the LAW-80, (if the player manages to save it by evading the tank) or fire a barrage of shells with the Jackhammer while remaining in the same position. A fast weapon such as the M16A2 could also be effective provided that the player has a few grenades left in the Grenade Launcher.

- Even though Ekk has her own (female and Russian) voice during cutscenes, she uses the same male soldier voice (pain/death) during the final battle.
