The M82A1 is a scoped sniper rifle. It creates significant noise. It usually gets you noticed and enemies with assault rifles can fire back on you. This sniper can shoot through walls, so it's advised to scope out enemies with Thermal Goggles then take them down where they can't see you.
IGI 2: Covert Strike
- Obtainable from enemy snipers in mission 16, 18 and 19.
- Can be bought in multiplayer by both teams, but at a high cost of 13500$
- Holds 10 rounds per magazine
- Maximum rate of fire: 40 RPM
- When you play for IGI team on SandStorm map (Multiplayer), respawn at 1-2 point, buy M82A1 and go up a hill to shoot at enemies from there.
